Of course, bereavement is about much more than financial matters and the emotional burden can be even harder to cope with. Arranging a funeral can put a huge strain on family or friends. Writing your funeral wishes can work in a variety of ways, firstly letting your family know if you wish to be buried or cremated, where you would like the service to be, would you like your ashes to be scattered? You can also remind them of music you loved, a favourite poem or reading that was special to you. Perhaps you could write about your early life, recall memories you shared and occasions that meant so much to you.
